History of High Tide
The first High Tide event took place in June 2021, after 15 long months of boring Covid life and the announcement that Burning Man would be cancelled for the second year in a row. Conveniently, our friends had just created a psychedelic desert getaway -- complete with a marooned boat that inspired the event's name. Thus, we braved Death Valley in late June for a long weekend of dancing, sharing, hugging, and getting weird in the desert. The second time around, we aimed for more moderate temperatures in late April. Although the event was a resounding success, we could have done without the gale-force winds and intermittent rain. We've now settled on May as the perfect season and can't wait to welcome you once again to our favorite weekend of the year.
